Air India is India's national flag carrier. Although air transport was born in India in February 1911.
The main bases of operation of the airline are Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Air India is the 16th largest airline in Asia,[4] serving 28 destinations worldwide, and, with its affiliated carriers, serves over 100 cities. Air India has codeshare agreements with twelve other international airlines.
The total airlines' aircraft on order are 111 (68 from Boeing and 43 from Airbus).
