Transwede was re-established in 2004 as a sister company to Malmö Aviation AB. The holding company is Braganza Sweden AB, owned by Mr. Per G. Braathen. The company was refounded as a ACMI operator with one aircraft.
Transwede's mission is to present airlines in Europe with a flexible, strategic tool, performing cost efficient and reliable operations with Regional Jets. Their focus is operations to and from London City Airport.
Transwedes ambition is to become the leading Wet lease/ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) airline in Northern-Europe.
Transwede is one of 6 subsidiaries in the newly formed Braathens Aviation Group.
